2020 Update

Hello my friends,

The Community Ministry Center is doing well. Our sponsors continue to provide us with food to give to the under resourced. We recently gained some more volunteers and supporters have made donations, though we can always use more of both. Our clientele continues to increase. Unfortunately, many have turned to us since their hours were cut back or they were laid off as the pandemic continues to affect our economy. Fortunately, we have a great group of volunteers and sponsors so we can remain open three times a week.

    Who We Are

    We are the for-profit arm of the Community Ministry Center of Fredericksburg, Inc. which opened January 2018 to serve the needs of under-resourced people in our community, especially those in need of food. Although we have received many generous donations, our business model was to set up a for-profit business to be the sustainable arm of our mission. After much prayer and research, we decided to establish a child care center. That is why we are called The Community Ministry Child Care Center, Inc. We are governed by a Board of Directors.
